The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Hong Kong HK Eastern (0-1) in Seoul on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked South Korean Knights (1-1) 94-87. It was a key game for the second position in the league. American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) orchestrated the victory by scoring 34 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists. contributed with 20 points for the winners. answered with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for HK Eastern. Knights left bottom position moving up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. HK Eastern at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with Macau BB. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
An interesting game for Filipino Bolts (2-2) which hosted in Manila 4th placed Macau Macau BB (0-1). Third ranked Bolts had an easy win 92-74. Cuban-Puerto Rican center Ismael Romero (205-1991) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 28 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson chipped in 34 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Damian Chong-Qui (173-1998, college: PFW) responded with 25 points and 4 assists. Meralco Bolts moved-up to second place, which they share with Kings. Macau BB at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with HK Eastern. Meralco Bolts will again play against Macau BB (#4) on the road in the next round. Macau BB will have a break next round.
An interesting game for Taiwanese Kings (2-2) which hosted in Taipei 4th placed South Korean Sakers (0-3). Third ranked Kings managed to get a 6-point victory 93-87. Sani Sakakini nailed 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Kings' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Assem Marei came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists for LG Sakers in the defeat. Defending Taiwanese champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Meralco Bolts. Defending South Korean champion LG Sakers still closes the standings with three games lost. Kings will meet at home league's leader Xac Broncos in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. LG Sakers will play against the league's leader Xac Broncos and hope to get finally their first victory.

Meralco Bolts dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Macau BB's 36. They outrebounded Macau BB 54-33 including a 39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Meralco Bolts players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Cuban-Puerto Rican center Ismael Romero (205-1991) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 28 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and American-Jordanian power forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (201-1995, college: Arizona) chipped in 34 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending Taiwanese champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Meralco Bolts.
